“Dear Seattle family and friends, although I do not live in Washington, I am endorsing the candidacy of James Donaldson for Mayor of Seattle. I have known and worked with James for many years and find him to be honest, professional, personable, friendly, respectful, competent, dedicated, knowledgeable, and fully aware of city’s needs and shortcomings. He has worked very closely with the return of the Sonics issue and is the only candidate who can bring the Sonics back. I am extremely happy to have him as a member of our Class of 2009 Hall of Fame.

Further, as a senior myself, I am especially thankful for a candidate who thinks about seniors. His plan to waive property taxes for seniors who have lived in their homes for 30 years or more, or those over 75 years of age, is a brilliant idea. Think of the benefits to seniors with this kind of thinking and implementation. No one else thinks like that.

I have been involved with politics for many years and promises are just that, promises. James has the background, experience, and dedication to make Seattle a great city.

I urge you to read about your candidates, their history for delivery on their promises, and I think you will find James to be the right person at the right time for Mayor of Seattle.”
